How long will you shoot my wedding day for? This can vary depending on you day but a typical wedding day shoot will go for around 8 hours, which is what our Laneway package covers. We are happy to stay longer for an additional charge per hour or choose our Highway package for 12 hour coverage.

When will I receive my images? We will have all images to you on USB within eight weeks of your wedding date.

Do you edit the photos? Yes, we edit all images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

What equipment do you use? Lyndon is a member of Nikon NPS (Nikon Professional Services) and uses all Nikon professional cameras, equipment and lenses. Courtney uses Canon professional grade cameras and lenses.

Do you use lighting equipment? We prefer to use natural light as much as possible and will use it to yours and our advantage. We do use on and off camera flash where necessary but to help us help you, if you can, we suggest steering away from moody or dark reception rooms/setups our cameras find it hard to see you and candles are generally not enough.

Do you have a backup of my wedding? Yes, all images once downloaded are backed up and stored for safekeeping. As we both attend all wedding to ensure no moments are missed throughout your day with countless memory cards, batteries, spare cameras and lenses too.

How long before my wedding should I book my photographer? To avoid disappointment you should be looking to book at least 8-12 months in advance. October – April are the busiest times so be sure to try and book 12 months in advance then.

How do I make a booking?

  1. Contact us via email or phone
  2. We will send you our Wedding Packages and Rates
  3. We will also send you a Wedding Agreement Booking form so fill this out too
  4. Once confirmed we take a $1000 deposit to secure your booking
  5. We are yours for the day

 

What is your approach and style to shooting my wedding and how will that affect my day? Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. It is vital you feel comfortable with us as your photographers. We are here to help as much as we can so relax enjoy your day and let us capture everything for you to remember forever. Our style is very natural and non-obtrusive, think of us as flies on a wall, not annoying ones though. We will only direct or ask you to do something for us when needed. We’re aiming to tell a story through our images so it’s best if we let the day flow naturally with as little or as much guidance from us as you want or need. It’s your day so enjoy the limelight and feel like a princess, diva, queen, or superstar whichever you prefer.

Do you always shoot together? Why do we need two photographers? Yes indeed. We’re a package deal, just like you and your partner we work as a team. With two photographers we’re able achieve more beautiful looks, angles and candid moments than one photographer can alone. We also get hungry so please don’t forget to feed us at your lunch/dinner.

My Wedding is located outside of Sydney, do you Travel? Of course we love to travel. Travelling spreads our wings and creates new challenges and inspiration. For all weddings outside of Sydney a travel fee will be arranged and all other domestic or international travel needs will be need to be covered which we can discuss.

How long have you been shooting for? Combined we have over 14 years photography experience and have both been shooting weddings for 8 years.

How long should I allow for photos throughout the day?

  1. Groom getting ready – 45mins – 1hr
  2. Bride getting ready – 1 – 2hrs
  3. Ceremony – 30mins – 1hr
  4. Family & Group shots – 20mins
  5. Location Photos – 1.5 – 2hrs
  6. Reception – This is completely up to you

Please remember to allow ample travel time between venues and location with more time the better rather than being rushed, we want a stress free day as much as you do.

Are both full time photographers? Yes we are indeed.

Do you only shoot weddings? No we also do engagement and portrait couple shoots too. These are a great fun way to capture some more beautiful images and shake off any pre-wedding camera nerves in a very relaxed environment and it’s nice to get to know you both a bit better too.

Will we get any prints with our package? Yes, we do offer prints with each of our wedding packages ranging between 50 – 100 prints dependant on the package you choose in 4×6” on Fujifilm Professional Matte Photo Paper.

Do you provide an album? Why should I get an album? We all love the feeling, smell and excitement of opening a new book or magazine. We offer both nice small coffee table books and/or fine art professionally presented albums both of which allow you to re-live your day and share this experience with friends and loved ones wherever you are. We recommend books/albums for this very reason as we feel it’s a much better way to enjoy showing off your day rather than finding your USB then loading images and all huddling around a computer screen, TV or iPad waiting for images to load. It’s an experience and day to be cherished and shared for many generations to come
